Thanks to the kind organization from Dusan Stevovic from Adriafly club, APPI masters, instructors and pilots met in Herceg Novi, Montenegro from 7th to 13th of April for the APPI west Balkans pro-workshop.

APPI professionals and pilots from Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia y Herzegovina, Croatia and Albania took the 60 hours course delivered by Manu Bonte and Mathieu Abrard. A large range of subjects where covered in six validation units : equipment, flight mechanics, aerodynamics, piloting, performance flying, meteorology/aerology, pedagogy and APPI standards.

The civil aviation authority of Montenegro represented by Dragan Rašin gave a course about local airspace regulation and their evolution to come.

The participants appreciated the knowledge delivered by the masters, had contact with some members of the APPI pedagogical committee and shared their experiences.

Highlight of the week, the presence of Mendo Veljanovsky from Macedonia, well known as paragliding pioneer in the Balkans, still competing in the acro world cup and APPI master instructor.
