Description : High andean mountain with good slope
Take off area : °0′0"N, °0′0"E, elevation 2920 meters, GR 0 (see in google maps). Perfect place for a flying over the Andes, with a nice landscapes, good to cross above Ibarra city and perfect to train acro above Yaguarcocha lake. Good for short XC mas 31km (record).
Landing area : °0′0"N, °0′0"E, elevation 2220 meters (see in google maps). Many places for landing close to Yahuarcocha Lahe
Weather and wind : Very smooth in the morning, little bit windy and thermal around middle of the day. One more time ok after 16:00 o clock. Bad in summer, gusty winds. St this season is recommended early flight in the morning.
Going there : Take a truck for 15usd. by Yuracrucito road.
Specials flying regulations and rules : Private property, call to be authorized to Flyecuador before use is needed.
